整整四個月之前，我來了。那是一個充滿驚喜的十一月，而你，是我得到的第一個驚喜。我的包裹里裝著我唯一的英語，我極小心地看護著它，生怕這樣的變遷與顛簸，讓我一直以來的安慰在不知不覺之間離開了我。最初的那幾天，我竭力想要抓住機會，盡管沒能最充分地表現自己，但是你仔細地注意到了我，用你的經驗很快讀懂了我，并主動地給予我安慰，和久違的安全感。
無容置疑，你意識到了英語對我的重要性，作為一個人人都尊敬、人人都有點怕的老師，你并沒有用你的力量輕而易舉地使我對你產生畏懼的心理，而是主動接近我，一點點揭開遮住我視線的厚厚的陌生，在我做得不夠完美而感到不安失落的時候，微笑并體諒我。
而你也有嚴肅的時候。當我扣了不該扣的分數，你會突然出現在我面前，顯示出那種令人畏懼的神色厲聲呵責。當我面對發生的這一切立在你面前不知所措時，你就會飛快地一改臉色，哈哈地放聲笑起來，笑過之后，摸一摸我的額頭，輕聲告訴我沒關系。
也許我還是太小？我總是焦慮，在考試之前總是想一些甚至會起到反作用的東西。以前的時候，可以在考試之后靜靜地等。但是現在，卷子剛剛交上去，就會被一些所謂的佼佼者圍住喋喋不休，其中不乏恭維或者不懷好意的寒暄，讓等待的僅僅幾個小時的時間變得難熬，讓我覺得愧疚，覺得難以忍受。
課上我把卷子攤開，目不轉睛地看著紅線密集的地方，你從我的身后走過來，用勁地點著我的.卷子，手指敲在桌子上發出很大的聲音。我坐在椅子上縮在一角，聽著你嚴厲的“看看……看看……這是怎么了！”我托住頭，你把卷子從桌上拿起來，站在旁邊靜靜地仔細地分析，然后放下來看著我，仔細地說出評判標準和我的不足。我放松了一些，小心翼翼連比帶劃地說出自己的錯因。你突然笑起來，對呀，對呀，你沖我呵呵地笑。

Do you know Thanksgiving Day? Do you know why human thank God?
Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of November, a different date every year. The President must proclaim that date as the official celebration.
Thanksgiving is a time for tradition and sharing. Even if they live far away, family members gather for a reunion at the house of an older relative. All give thanks together for the good things that they have.
In this spirit of sharing, civic groups and charitable organizations offer a traditional meal to those in need, particularly the homeless. On most tables throughout the United States, foods eaten at the first thanksgiving have become traditional.
