我的好朋友家里都有寵物，小明家里養著博美犬，小美家里則有波斯貓，我羨慕不已，于是苦苦央求媽媽也給我買一個小動物，這天媽媽終于同意了。第二天放學回家，我驚奇地發現餐桌上有一個小小的玻璃缸，仔細一瞧，里面有一條條橙色的'身影在游動。哇！它們一身橙色，好像身披彩霞，奶白色的肚皮，頭頂著兩只鼓著的大眼睛，頑皮地吐著泡泡，原來是金魚！我迫不及待地想為我的“寵物”做些什么。于是，我立刻去挑了一大塊米飯放入水中，金魚們立刻趕了過來，吃得正歡。我自言自語道：“金魚呀，金魚呀，多吃一點兒，快快長大！”媽媽看到了，驚呼到；“你在干什么！這樣魚要被你弄死的！”她把米飯撈起來。“我就是想讓它們快點長大。”我不解。媽媽搖搖頭走了。
My good friends have pets at home. Xiaoming has a Pomeranian dog and Xiaomei has a Persian cat. I envy it so much that I begged my mother to buy me a small animal. That day, my mother finally agreed. When I came home from school the next day, I was surprised to find a small glass jar on the dining table. After a careful look, there were orange figures swimming in it. WOW! I said to myself, "goldfish, goldfish, eat more and grow up quickly!" Mother saw it and exclaimed, "what are you doing! Youre going to kill the fish! " She fished up the rice. "I just want them to grow up faster." I dont understand. Mother shook her head and left.
