　　As everyone knows，English is very important today.It has been used everywhere in the world.It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well，we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it，the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed.

　　But for myself，I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness，but also because of my love for it.When I learn English， I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.When I read English novels，I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.When I speak English， I can feel the confident from my words.When I write English，I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...

　　I love English，it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English， I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London，because it is the birth place of English.

　　I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people，I hope that they can love our country like us.

　　I know， Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study， one day I can speak English very well.

　　If you want to be loved， you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday ， it will love me too.

　　過年前的一天下午，媽媽接到小紅帽培訓(xùn)中心的電話，正月初五在北門廣場有個少兒專場演出，鄭老師安排我和其他三位同學(xué)當(dāng)主持人。這好消息一傳來，我就甭提有多開心了。因為我不還沒有正式主持過廣場演出呢！

　　那時候，主持稿還沒拿到，我一直等一直等，終于鄭老師將稿子發(fā)給我媽媽了，我馬上開始背了起來，媽媽下班后還做我的搭檔，陪我一起串詞。沒過幾天，我就背得滾瓜爛熟了！

　　終于到了初五，下午我早早地來到了北門廣場，只見廣場正中已經(jīng)搭好了一個好高的舞臺，鄭老師讓我們幾個主持人在臺上走了幾遍，然后又告訴了我們幾個注意事項。

　　2點鐘，演出正式開始了，我和其他三位主持人面帶微笑地走上臺去。其實我心中還是挺緊張的，因為要是主持人說錯了，就等于毀了整臺演出。由于我準(zhǔn)備得比較充分，整個演出還是順利地進(jìn)行。

　　演出中我個人還有個郎誦的節(jié)目《帽子的秘密》。這個節(jié)目是去年我在臺州電視臺少兒欄目小主持人大賽中得過獎的，所以在朗誦時發(fā)揮的挺好，獲得了臺下一陣陣掌聲。

　　外公外婆也來看我主持來了。演出結(jié)束后，外公對我說：“你講得總體上很好，不過還有兩個缺點，一是臉部表情還不夠放松、自然，二是走上臺時，眼睛要看著臺下的觀眾，而不能看著地面”。

　　我希望今后能把這兩方面的缺點改掉，這樣我就能更進(jìn)步，我相信我能行的！

　　Some say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality and character. Some think otherwise. What's your opinion? Why?

　　Well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a person's personality has little relation to his family economic level. It's commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that is all in vain. It's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor family's children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves. However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus can't study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think children's personality have little relation to their family situation.

Good morning everyone

　　It's a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Then today I want to talk something about dreams and reality.

　　As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy (列夫、托爾斯泰)said, “Ideal is the beacon(煙火、燈塔). Without ideal, there is no secure (無慮的`, 安全的, 安心的, 可靠的, 保險的)direction; without a direction, there is no life.” So there’s no doubt that everyone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what is practical and sensible(.明智的, 有感覺的, 明理的) will connect with our most treasured dreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To others nothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part of our reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason why our dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality by bringing them together.

　　As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most important things we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Your family condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse, your subject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and lead you to establish a dream.

　　Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of reality into our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing 追逐our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by the passage of time!
